Privacy performance
Let the light in. Keep everyday life less visible.
Sheer does not have to mean exposed. This fabric has been reviewed under a consistent 1 m, 2 m and 3 m viewing-distance method so you can choose with clearer expectations.
Best for living rooms, dining rooms and street-facing windows where daylight and everyday privacy both matter.
Airy Sheer
privacy scene visualization at 1, 2 and 3 metre viewing distances during daytime and at night
What this means in real life
A clear answer for daytime and night.
Night · indoor lights on
1 m / 2 m / 3 m: Body outline and movement may be visible; facial features, identity, clothing color, and room details are not clear.
See it in your own light
Check the fabric, color and privacy level before ordering.
Natural and indoor lighting can change how every sheer looks. A physical swatch is the clearest way to choose confidently.
Choose your privacy level
More openness or more coverage?
All sheers filter light. The difference is how much visual detail remains visible.
Most open
High-transparency sheer
Maximum daylight and the clearest view through the fabric. Best when openness matters more than privacy.
Balanced
Semi-privacy sheer
Soft daylight with reduced visual detail. Presence or movement may still be noticeable depending on lighting.
Most coverage
High-privacy light-filtering sheer
Stronger daytime screening while keeping the room bright. For maximum privacy after dark, add a blackout curtain.
A good fit for
Living rooms, dining rooms and street-facing windows where you want soft daylight with less everyday visibility.
Choose more coverage if
You need complete room darkening, sleep-friendly light control or the strongest possible privacy after dark.

1 m, 2 m and 3 m are the distances from the camera to the fabric. The person stayed directly behind the fabric, with the same shooting conditions used at each distance.

3Person or room recognizable
Actual privacy changes with indoor and outdoor light balance, viewing distance, color and room conditions. This is a light-filtering privacy guide, not a blackout claim.
Privacy, Rich Texture, Luxurious Comfort
Woven from premium European flax, Calliope’s voile construction achieves an extraordinary lightness — an open, almost ethereal weave that allows light to pass through like sunlight through birch leaves. Yet within this delicacy lies a refined, matte slub texture that deepens with each gentle wash — becoming softer, more beautiful, and more authentically itself over time. Unlike flat, lifeless synthetics, Calliope’s natural irregularities catch and refract light in quiet, shifting ways, transforming harsh midday glare into a diffused, cream-warm glow that pools gently onto the floor. The fabric falls with an airy, effortless grace — lighter than a traditional sheer, yet possessing a quiet, composed presence that imparts a subtle, understated elegance to every space it inhabits.
Whether adorning a sun-drenched living room, a serene bedroom, or a tranquil reading nook, Calliope Cream Linen Voile Curtain balances luminous translucence with soft visual privacy — allowing daylight to stream through while veiling the view beyond with a gentle, cream-filtered haze. It softens the boundaries between inside and out, between the epic world and the intimate haven you call home.
Linen Blend Sheer
Calliope’s superior quality is upheld by the most rigorous international standards. Its linen composition is certified to be completely free from harmful substances — every thread, every fiber rigorously tested for safety and human well-being. Where applicable, certifications guaranteeing full traceability are applied across every stage of cultivation, spinning, weaving, and finishing — all entirely within Europe — upholding ethical labor standards and responsible environmental practices from seed to stitch.
With its breathable natural insulation and exceptional durability, Calliope offers an eco-conscious foundation for any interior — a textile that not only complements the spaces you love but also preserves the world beyond your windows.
